All business class to the Riviera, now through the winter

Published

For the first time, there are business class flights between New York and Nice all through the winter. La Compagnie, the French airline whose aircraft carry only business class, now flies its Newark to Nice route year-round, with two flights a week in the 2026/2027 winter season instead of stopping at the end of the summer: welcome news among flights to Europe.

The flights to Nice leave Newark on Mondays and Fridays in the evening and land at about ten the next morning; the return leaves Nice at noon on Tuesdays and Fridays. Each Airbus A321neo carries 76 seats, every one of them a fully flat bed.

For travellers bound for the Côte d'Azur in the quiet months, Monaco and Cap Ferrat in December or the Riviera in early spring, it keeps a direct business-class link from New York once the summer schedules end. It is a calm way to spend Europe in winter on the French Riviera.
