Who we are
TheMediterranean.com is owned and run by The Digital Asset Advisors, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, United States.
What we collect
If you subscribe to The Mediterranean Season Letter, we keep your email address, when you signed up and when you confirmed it. If you ask the trip planner to send you your trip, we keep your email address and the name of the trip, and send it to you. If you write to us, we keep your message and your address so we can reply. We do not ask for anything else.
How we use it
We use your email address only to send The Mediterranean Season Letter, four letters a year, to send the trip you asked for, and to answer your messages. Every new address is confirmed with one tap before any letter is sent. We never sell or rent your information to anyone.
Unsubscribe
Every email we send has a link to unsubscribe with one click, and you can also write to us to be removed at any time.
Inviting a friend
If you invite a friend, we only give you a link to share. We never ask for, keep or write to an address that someone else gave us; your friend joins only if they choose to.
Your location
To suggest the airport nearest to you, the trip planner asks a location service for your approximate city, based on your internet address. If you tap “Use my location”, your phone shares your position only after you allow it. We do not keep either.
Today's weather
The weather line on our place and resort pages comes from Open-Meteo through our own server, once an hour, so your device does not contact Open-Meteo and nothing about you is sent.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It collects information such as your browser, device and approximate location, but not your name or email address. Visitors in the European Union, the wider European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first: Google Analytics sets no cookies for them unless they choose Accept. Elsewhere it uses cookies. Anyone can change their choice at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page, or block or delete cookies in their browser settings.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to the official websites of hotels, restaurants and other places. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Some links may earn us a commission.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom have these rights under data-protection law.

The Mediterranean Season Letter

Where to be, every season

Four letters a year, one for each season: the Mediterranean from spring to autumn, and Beyond the Mediterranean, into the Alps, in winter. The one best hotel to book, and the events worth crossing a sea for.
